Corporate Information Optical Surface Technologies, LLC is a small business based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. OST is a new, high-tech company, founded through a joint venture between New Mexico Tech University in Socorro, New Mexico and Muñiz Engineering, Inc. of Houston, Texas, an ISO 9001:2000 certified company. This joint venture was formed September 1, 2003 and provides high-value technical services to our government and commercial customers in optical manufacturing. Our primary areas of expertise are manufacturing, metrology, coating and final testing on optics up to 2.5 meters in diameter. We also provide optical design, test and measurement and cost estimation services for unique custom large optics. Optical Surface Technologies currently employs about 10 personnel and is estimating 2004 sales to be $1.8M. Estimated growth in 2005 is anticipated to double the workforce and increase sales to $3.2M. |
